Jim Burns currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources for GFG. In this role, he provides human resources leadership including HR strategy and policy, organizational and employee development, compensation and benefits, manpower planning and resourcing, and employee relations across the organization.

Mr. Burns previously served as Vice President of Human Resources for NexCen Brands, Inc. and NexCen Franchise Management, Inc., prior to the acquisition by Global Franchise Group in 2010.

Mr. Burns brings more than a decade of Human Resources experience with leading companies such as UGL Unicco, SITA and Cendant to his current position. Most recently, he served as Corporate Director of Human Resources at UGL Unicco. In this capacity, he led the regional HR management teams in North America and functioned as the HR business partner for the Operations and Business Development units consisting of more than 18,000 employees.

Prior to joining UGL Unicco, Mr. Burns served as Director of Human Resources for SITA's Americas region, comprised of more than 1,400 employees in 23 countries. At SITA he led the implementation of core HR programs across multiple business units ensuring an effective, sustainable people strategy throughout the organization. Mr. Burns has also consulted on a large-scale human resources project with Cox Communications, one of the leading cable entertainment and broadband services providers in the United States.

Mr. Burns holds a master's degree in human resources management from New York Institute of Technology.
