Take a “Shake Break” with new Coffee, Cookies ‘N Cream, Cotton Candy, Snickers® and Strawberry Swirl Shakes

ATLANTA (May 18, 2017) – Marble Slab Creamery® and MaggieMoo’s® Ice Cream and Treatery are shaking up their menu offerings. The super-premium homemade ice cream shops have launched a new line of hand-scooped swirled shakes and are offering the treats for $1 off during “Slab Happy Hour” from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The new featured Swirl Shake flavors are Coffee, Cookies ‘N Cream, Cotton Candy, Snickers® and Strawberry, and customers are invited to create a unique shake with any ice cream flavor of their choice. Shakes are available in 12 and 20 ounce sizes.

The Coffee Swirl shake is a java lover’s dream with homemade sweet cream ice cream, coffee mix, a drizzle of Hershey’s® chocolate syrup and topped with whipped cream. Cookies ‘N Cream is a dreamy combination of sweet cream ice cream, Oreo® cookies, a drizzle of chocolate syrup topped with whipped cream and more crushed Oreos. Kids and adults alike will love the Cotton Candy shake made with our famous blue Cotton Candy ice cream, a drizzle of marshmallow swirl and topped with whipped cream and mini M&M’s®. Snickers fans will fall for the Snickers shake made with sweet cream ice cream, chopped Snickers, a drizzle of caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream and mini Snickers bars. The Strawberry Swirl shake is a berry-centric mix of homemade strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of marshmallow cream topped with whipped cream. The new Swirled Shakes are quickly becoming fan favorites.

While everyone can take advantage of the Slab Happy Hour $1 off deal, customers are also encouraged to download the Marble Slab/MaggieMoo’s Slab Happy rewards app available via the App Store or Google Play for even more exclusive offers and savings.

Before her time with Mellow Mushroom, Annica was Vice President of Marketing for Mcalister’s Corporation and she spent the early part of her career at a prominent advertising agency in Mobile Alabama. She is graduate of Samford University in Birmingham where she earned her Bachelors in Marketing and MBA in Economics.

Sam Patterson
Chief Financial Officer

Patterson came to Global Franchise Group in April 2020 from FOCUS Brands where he served as Senior Vice President of Accounting. For the last eleven years, he was responsible for leading financials for Cinnabon, Carvel, Schlotzsky’s, Moe’s Southwest Grill, McAlister’s Deli, Auntie Anne’s and Jamba Juice. He directed the organization through the transfer and integration of all accounting back-office functions for Auntie Anne’s from Pennsylvania, McAlister’s Deli from Mississippi, and Jamba Juice from Texas to Atlanta and converted a brand-centric accounting structure into a shared services organization. Before his time with FOCUS, he was Senior Vice President & Corporate Controller for Movie Gallery/Hollywood Video (NASDAQ: MOVI & MVGR), Vice President and Corporate Controller for Republic National Cabinet Corporation, and Corporate Controller for Wolverine Tube, Inc. (NYSE: WLV). He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant, holds a master’s in business administration from Auburn University, and is a graduate of the University of Texas, Tyler.
