Multi-brand franchisor Global Franchise Group, LLC hosted their 2011 QSR Conference recently in Dallas, Texas. More than 400 attendees representing the Great American Cookies®, MaggieMoo's
Ice Cream & Treatery®, Marble Slab Creamery® and Pretzelmaker® brands attended the April event to network with company executives, other franchisees and vendors. Attendees also discovered
new ways to grow their business through seminars on trending topics such as Social Media, Franchising Finances and Team Leadership/Sales presented by industry leaders.

Conference celebrated our ongoing efforts to provide the best service and products for our customers as well as the collaborative relationship we have with our local store owners. We would
like to thank all who attended and congratulate the franchisees who were honored for their accomplishments and commitment to our brands."
Global Franchise Group made several major announcements during the Conference, including a plan to integrate MaggieMoo's Ice Cream & Treatery with Marble Slab Creamery in the near future.
The combined super-premium concept, operating under the Marble Slab Creamery name, will bring together the best elements of both brands including the standard of exceptional quality that
has become a shared heritage.
In addition to the integration, Global Franchise Group announced the promotion of Bob Cross to Vice President of Plant Operations for GFG Management. In this role, Cross will be responsible
for all operations of the GFG manufacturing facility, which produces products for both the Great American Cookies and Pretzelmaker brands. Prior to being promoted, Cross led all aspects of the
Great American Cookies business as the Brand Director.
During a special awards ceremony at the Conference, Global Franchise Group recognized many exceptional franchisees. Awards given at the Conference included:
