Great American Cookies announced today that it is partnering with the Yellow Ribbon Fund, Inc. to present the brand's
first ever summer Yellow Ribbon Campaign. Kicking off on July 4th and running through September 16th, Great American
Cookies will donate $2 from the online sale of every Yellow Ribbon, Uncle Sam Hat and U.S. Flag Cookie Cake to the
organization. Great American Cookies is managed by GFG Management, LLC, a subsidiary of Global Franchise Group.
Founded in 2005, the Yellow Ribbon Fund provides assistance, including transportation and lodging, for injured
service members and their families from across the country while they recuperate at the Walter Reed Army Medical

The company celebrated the new program recently during New York City's 24th Annual Fleet Week by unveiling a
one-of-a-kind 16' by 12' patriotic Super Cookie Cake. The Super Cookie Cake took around 20 hours to bake and
decorate, weighed 400 pounds and contained 6,000 chocolate chips! Participants in the annual Intrepid Sea, Air
& Space Museum Tug of War each received a slice and the rest of the creation was delivered to military ships in
harbor for Fleet Week. Video from that event is available
