DALLAS (May 1, 2020) – Despite the challenge of opening during a Pandemic, a new Round Table Pizza® in Dallas is set to start serving the community on Monday, May 4. The location, the second in Texas, is located at 5600 SMU Boulevard, Suite 120, and will feature the California-born brand’s famous full menu including handmade pizza (with homemade dough prepared in-store daily, sauce, proprietary cheese blend and generous toppings), wings, salad, it’s famous garlic parmesan twists, cinnamon twists, and a variety of beers and wine.
As the restaurant prepares to open, guest safety is the highest priority. Round Table Pizza is adhering to the Governor’s mandate of 25% occupancy or less, all employees will be wearing masks and gloves, and the restaurant will offer contactless and curbside delivery. With social distancing in mind, the restaurant’s outdoor patio and carry-out window are good options for customers.
The location is managed by local franchisees Shelby Jobe and Mike Stern who opened their first location in Frisco in 2019. “During these challenging times, Round Table Pizza Texas is committed to serving the best pizza in all the land,” said Stern. “While opening in a pandemic has posed its challenges, we are excited to introduce Round Table Pizza to the Dallas area and are honored to provide comfort and a delicious meal to the community. In a way, the timing is actually perfect.”
Round Table Pizza Texas is also giving back to the community during this tough time. The team has donated more than 50 pizzas to first responders throughout Dallas/Ft. Worth and is encouraging customers to #Pizzaitfoward by ordering an additional pizza for heroes on the frontlines of fighting COVID-19.
